Toys on
the Boat
We are “grown up” kids — the boat is packed with gear for wind, water and camera. Here’s the whole spill, one category at a time.
Fun for all the family.
Full range of kites 5M–13M for most conditions — mostly Liquid Force HiFi X. Several boards, bars & helmets too; not the latest, but all works & in great condition.
One aboard — a Fatyak Samos: rigid injection-moulded & near indestructible. Great in shallows, and for nipping ashore without launching the tender.
Own dive compressor, 2 BCDs, regs — two of everything.
Masks & fins for everyone aboard.
A speargun for those who fancy catching dinner, plus a high-quality Penn International rod & reel and a good selection of lures. Trolling underway, we land Tuna, Dorado & Wahoo.
Magma Marine Kettle Deluxe gas BBQ — one of the most-used bits of kit aboard; we wear them out, so a new one’s just been fitted.
AVON R3.15 RIB with a 20HP Yamaha 4-stroke outboard — day-to-day running around, towing water toys & getting to dive spots.
We keep 2–3 aboard — great for exploring and buying provisions.
One of our first things as a couple — still a daily habit.
A cool toy — and how we make movies.
+ accessories, for drone, underwater & boarding.
Camera body plus a whole lot of glass.
So we don’t get too close to the sea creatures.
The boat’s movement already fights steady shots.
“Many people told us that after a few weeks or months we will get bored and head back to our previous jobs… we are wondering how the hell is this going to happen with all these toys onboard?”
